MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Hundreds of Mid-South families will have a happy Thanksgiving thanks to Z-Bo.

The Grizzlies star donated 500 food baskets to local families Tuesday at Booker T. Washington High School.

Each basket included a ham or turkey, macaroni and cheese, stuffing, green beans, corn bread, cranberry sauce and brownie mix.

"This is what's important: seeing people smile, making sure people have something to eat for thanksgiving dinner - that's what it's all about, giving back," he said. "It's a blessing for me to bless someone else."

This is all part of the Grizzlies season of giving.

Zach Randolph also helped distribute more than 400 meals last week at Carver High School.
