MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - - "I'm a Grizzly for life, man - if they trade me tomorrow. I'm a Grizzly for life," said Memphis Grizzlies player Zach Randolph.
With rumors of a Z-Bo trade running rampant, Grizzlies CEO Jason Levien claims the Grizzlies aren't looking to move the 31-year-old forward who averages 15.7 points and 11.7 rebounds.
"Continue to stick with us. I mean it's a transition period for us and we still got a good team," said Randolph.
The Grizzlies have slipped from 1st to 5th in the Western Conference and are struggling on the court since Rudy Gay was traded to Toronto.
Five new Grizzlies players have a lot of plays to learn. Many fans understand that.
"I understand the Rudy Gay situation. It was financial. I'm good with that and he really wasn't doing that much here no way," said Grizzlies fan James Rodgers.
"I think we could be a better team but it's going to take some time," said Grizzlies fan Archie Alsobrook.
For now, Z-Bo doesn't seem worried, but he knows where to look for good info about the team.
"Hey, I'm Zach Randolph for the Memphis Grizzlies. Make sure you continue to watch ABC 24 News," he said.
