MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - A $5,000 guitar stolen from the guitarist for George Clinton's Parliament Funkadelic band last year in Memphis has been recovered by police, and an arrest warrant has been issued for a man in connection with the theft.

Last August, the band was performing at Shelby Farms when someone posing as a security guard entered the tour bus and stole a guitar owned by one of the band's guitarists, Shaunna Hall.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office said in a news release Monday that the guitar was recovered from a Guitar Center store in Atlanta and has been returned to the band. An arrest warrant was issued for 35-year-old Neika Lightfoot of Memphis, who was taken into custody on Monday, August 20.

Neika Lightfoot was charged with two counts of Theft over $1,000 and was booked at the Shelby County Jail on $55,000 bond.
