MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A search for a man who shot at a Memphis police officer has been called off.
Police responded to a suspicious person call in the 3500-block of Jackson Avenue near the National Cemetery around 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 15.
Once on the scene the officer spotted a man walking towards a business and told him to stop. The man then turned around and fired one shot, missing the officer.
Police and K-9's searched the area by foot and air. Officers called the search off around 10 p.m. without locating the suspect.
