As someone that is a victim of a cop wrongfully pointing a gun at me while handcuffed with hands behind my back in the back of the cop car I have to say sadly there are bad cops out there that take nothing and turn it into or try and turn it into something that it is not. And when things don't go there the easy they want them to they act without care. It's not easy moving around in the back of a cop car let alone while handcuffed with your hands behind your back! This poor boy and his family are victims of an out of control cop and my prayers go out to the family may God be with you and keep you safe!

Why are you talking about having to be a contortionist? It is not difficult at all to move cuffs around to the front....Did you not read? And Frsrboi for once I sort of agree with you! Long story short, people want to make a bigger deal out of it than it is. He was not being a good person, made dumb moves, and died as a result. THE END.

So obvious what happened - he was struggling to free the peashooter from his grown area when he discharged it.....arched back, head tilted rearward; wonder what he would have done if he was successful in clearing the weapon? Likely would be having a funeral for a police officer....

"He was handcuffed behind his back," says Sergeant Lyle Waterworth. He adds cops were a little more than a car length away when they "reported hearing a sound. They were not sure what the sound was." That is until they found Carter bleeding, a gun lying near him. Officers say they searched him twice before the shooting, never finding a gun. Does anyone read?? How can shoot yourself in the back of the head when you are handcuffed with your hands behind your back?? Perhaps they should have eluded to the fact that he was a contortionist, as to get themselves off the hook. Hey, who knows, maybe they arrested him for being a contortionist under the influence and not having a license.

people get guns into jails all the time after being searched. It is virtually impossible to be 100% accurate while searching someone. Especially with the multiple layers of clothes some younger people wear these days. Maybe one of the cops was imcompetent, and the other just did a quick patdown? Who knows? I certainly don't, which is why I try not to jump on crazy conclusion trains. And you don't need to be facing huge jail time to feel hopeless and take your life. Come on now, really. Think about all of the suicides there are, and how many are simply someone at home, or not someone in a situation like this. Just because it is out of the ordinary, doesn't mean it doesn't"=suicide".

It never stated in this report why he was getting arrested. Which leads me to believe that it probably wasn't for some type of Class A felony. Something that would carries several years in jail or even life. If, so I can see how a person would feel hopeless at that moment once they realized the ramification of their actions but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Everyone needs to strip RACE from the equations. Look at this equation in this sequence: Man w/loaded handgun + Searched twice + Handcuffed--doesn't = Suicide. PERIOD! It's going to all boil down to the forensics, bullet trajectory, and angles in this case to prove that it is humanly possible that it happened the way they have stated.

Is something not together correctly in your head? You keep talking about what makes sense and what doesn't. THE GUY KILLED HIMSELF! HE TOOK HIS OWN LIFE! How in the world do you try to work "what makes sense or not" into the equation? Why didn't he do it before the police got to him? Because he obviously didn't want to do it then! And you said he was "planning to do it all along". How do you know that? And who cares what hand you HEARD he writes with? So if I am right-handed, and I decide to off myself, I should use my left hand, then it means NO WAY AT ALL did I kill myself! Someone else must have done it! Because I would've used my right hand! Wow, ok.... Also, where does it say he was cuffed behind his back after they found him shot? I missed that part I guess. All you are doing is SPECULATING, which is the same as ASSUMING. And do I need to tell you what a teacher told me assuming does? So yeah, lets take your "story" of what went down.....Cops: Hey did you see that black guy pass by? Let's go kill him while he is cuffed behind his back and then say he killed himself!".....geez. So by your "none of the facts make sense here", I doubt you could follow the facts if you saw everything go down in front of your eyes. Because eyes like yours see only what they want to see. And obviously, your eyes want to see what color someone is. I'm sure your story will be different if the cops are black. Either that or you just hate cops in general. Which I'm certain you have some "stories" as to why that is too....Back to your cave now!
