Horn Lake Adding More Houses to Entice Bats, Combat Mosquitoes

Last month Horn Lake installed its first bat house. Now even more homes are in the works for the nocturnal creatures. The city is hoping if they build them the bats will come and West Nile cases will drop.

What a great natural idea, but other things are needed as well, flushing out old water, fixing any stopped up drainage (so water is not left standing), and still the county needs to be sprayed to kill them as well. Sure hope all this helps!! A bat watch would be pretty neat!!
