We have to think that Karen is free from suffering now and her life will be carried on in everyone's memory who knew her. I know her kids will be missing her but they are her legacy that were Karen's priority. I did not know her but I am affected by how sad it is. I live near the bridge where she was found and asked why it was closed. I felt the pain and horror that friends and family members had been going through. The prayer vigil is to give Karen a message that she does not need to stay in the world of suffering and if we send positive thoughts that she is free now, she will be. I am sure that everyone wanted to keep Karen safe but when we are talking about adults, it is hard to interfere in their personal lives unless they seek help. We can only do what we can do today. We are a community that is bigger than this.

Prayers ar with the family and friends....especially for the children

I've never unnerstood what these "vigils' are supposed to accomplish, it's not like it's gonna bring her back from the grave or anything.
