MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police arrested a man for shooting his estranged wife's boyfriend Sunday afternoon.
37-year-old Mario Myers is charged with Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Domestic Assault and Evading Arrest.
Myer's ex told officers he showed up at her home in the Sherwood Forest neighborhood and was arguing about their son. During the argument she said her boyfriend, Antoine Davis, came out to see if she was OK when Myers pulled a gun and shot Davis twice.
Police say Myers took off with their son and two other children at the home and refused to stop when officers tried to pull him over. After a short chase, he was taken into custody.
Myers is being held on $50,000 at the Shelby County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court on November 1. Davis is in critical condition at The MED.
