Bottom line is, he is not a police officer and has no right to stop anyone. He could have just as easily killed a kid by trying to play vigilante hero. We do not need those kind of people driving vehicles like fools in a school zone either. This guy is GUILTY. Besides, being a sinister Republican, anything he does is suspicious and I wouldn't trust him as far as I could spit.

I would have agreed with you a month ago, considering all the details that have come out about his alleged financial misdeeds. I have been one of the people saying he needed to go. Then I had a conversation with an eyewitness to this event. He should get a misdemeanor conviction for the blue lights but the other charge dismissed. The person who was there said he was trying to do the right thing and chase down a driver who put kids in danger near the school bus. I'm guessing his paternal instinct kicked in and he felt like he had to do something about it. I get it - there are dozens of cars that fail to stop at that intersection daily, putting kids in danger frequently. As a parent, I'd like to see more action by the Southaven police to crack down on that area.

I find it quite alarming, but not surprising, that none of the Judges in DeSoto County has the "Onions" to put that boy, Davis, in jail where he belongs........sigh......
