MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A late Sunday night storm led to a house fire after lighting hit the roof of a Cordova home.
The Memphis Fire Department was called to the 2800-block of Rockcreek Parkway off U.S. 64 near I-40 at 11 p.m. on May 6. It took approximately 30 minutes to completely extinguish the fire.
No injuries were reported, and Red Cross assistance was not requested. Total damage from the fire was estimated to be $260,000.
