MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphians cheered as former Memphis football star Barrett Jones celebrates his third national championship with The University of Alabama.
Chris Vernon, of "The Chris Vernon Show" on 92.9 FM, says Jones is "incredibly impressive." He calls Jones "one of the most decorated offensive lineman in college football history."
Those decorations include trophies for being the best center and best offensive lineman in college football. The former ECS standout also goes on church missions during the off-season preaching Christianity.
