Tell Terry that it makes me sad that I have to work for a living to get my benefits.

This is a well planned play by obama. This tax "cut" only amounts to about $20 to the average working american. And since it reduces the amount you pay in to the system, it reduces the amount the person will get later. At least that is what I expect. The two parties are self serving. Neither is serious about the budget. The only thing they are serious about is votes, and protecting their own interests. We need a real American leader in the whitehouse, and we need to rebuild washington with people that want to bring America back to its feet. Get rid of obama and all the 30+ year politicians that have been living off of our hard earned money while creating this mess.

If the nitwits in Congress would get some gonads and dismantle the IRS and pass a straight 10% income tax across the board, we wouldn't continue to have this issue. There is argument about it not being enough, but frankly it is enough if they quit doling out welfare benefits to people who are lazy. It is time we face the music that our country is never going to go back to what it was and live with it. SS has been raped for decades and we are now feeling the heat of that because there are so many baby boomers that are retirement age and it is bursting at the seams of an already beleaugered system. First, dump the guy in the white house, second, put in congressmen and women who have to guts to actually listen to their constituents and vote accordingly and quit kissing the bums of the special interest groups.

Of course if we did away with Social Security altogether, Staceys' employer could pay her 15% more.

I guess Stacey's not worried about the hit that the already-beleaguered Social Security system will take because of this tax cut. Where are the ardent SS defenders? Strangely quiet.

Amazing. The argument here is about OUR MONEY, and the thuggish clowns determining how much the tax cattle are allowed to keep....
