Memphis, Tenn. (Memphis Grizzlies) – The Memphis Grizzlies announced Tuesday that they have partnered with the Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) to offer shuttle service to all Grizzlies home games. The service will begin with the Grizzlies first preseason game when Memphis faces Real Madrid at FedExForum on Saturday, October 6 at 7:00 p.m.
“We are excited to partner with MATA to ensure public transportation is provided to our fans each game,” President of Business Operations Greg Campbell said. “We understand many of our MVP Season Ticket Holders, pack holders and fans rely and utilize these shuttle services provided by MATA, and what is in our fans best interest, is in our best interest.”
Detailed information regarding pick-up locations and departure times is as follows:
Prior to Tip-Off
Germantown - Germantown Village Square on Poplar (Will also stop at Halle Stadium)
Bartlett - Wal-Mart on Highway 64 near Wolfchase (Will also stop at Laurelwood & Poplar Plaza)
East Memphis – Poplar Plaza - On Poplar near Highland
Southeast Memphis - Halle Stadium
East Memphis – Laurelwood - On Poplar near Perkins Extd.
One way tickets will cost $4.00 per passenger while round trip tickets can be purchased for $8.00. Tickets will be available at each pick-up location, or visit one of MATA’s transit centers. For more information about MATA and its services, call (901) 274-6282 or visit www.matatransit.com.
