Another Memphis Police officer was on the wrong side of the law after he was caught buying 10 kilos of cocaine.

Its not his fault.If you want to point a finger, blame society for not understanding his culture and the struggles he faces everyday. All this officer was doing was trying to feed his kids.

What the HELL, Why don't the rest of you corrupt COPS...just resign before you get caught. I don't understand, you attend the police academy for 21 weeks at taxpayers expense and then you screw up your career. Is that how it works?! What....did the city hire Ex New Orleans COPS after post Katrina and Rita!!!!

@iconst, every City has its problems. Southaven has is mayoral issues; Olive Branch has its teen killers who try to blame Memphis via a body dump, and they also have you!! Memphis has its challenges but our leaders are trying to address the issues, whether we agree with their approach or not. Most of us are not proud of the bad that is happening here and to the extent that we can make a modicum of difference, we are trying.

10 kilos of coke would likely cost this stalwart knight of justice anywhere between 150K - 240K dollars. Perhaps it should be asked how an officer with less than 4 years with this gang came up with that much money. OH YES - LET US NOT FOR GET - SUSPENDED. WITH PAY.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE OFFICERS!!!! It puts a shame to those that are retired like my father. Do they realyl think that they will get away with it??? Its sad that you can even trust Memphis cops anymore. If I get pulled over in Memphis you bet your ass I will go to the nearest police station. So glad my Olive Branch Officers are not like Memphis officers

Wow if you're out of cocaine and looking for a new connection, try Memphis Police, apparently! On the other hand, I suppose we should give their investigators credit for at least giving the appearance of cleaning up the department.
