MPD Officers Accused of Threatening City Officials

Memphis Police Director Toney Armstrong has a zero tolerance stance when it comes to officers threatening to do harm to others, and he isn't hiding his displeasure with two officers accused of threatening to kill members of city government.

"let it go" eh? is that what you say to a child whose dad got drunk and threatened to kill their mom? blowing off steam by making terroristic threats is stupid. these policemen are stupid. why not blow off steam by working out or having a beer? why sit in the precinct and talk about seizing weapons and turning them on innocent people?

Toney A. does not know these guys personally, if he did, he would know they were just mouthing off, meant nothing. these guys are two very smart and well educated officers who are really good policemen. let it go

Yeah, I can practically smell the terrorism just looking at their photos. Thats an evil smile if ever I saw one.

This is a product of public unionism. There should be no such thing as a government employee union or association. It should have criminal consequences.
