Should this be news to anyone that has lived in the Senatobia area? This has been happening for a long while. I have 1st hand experience with the court and Ms.Darby. I have had alot of bad experiences with the law in that town as so many have, but to report it, only means that you and your family will be harressed from that point on. Thank God that this is finally getting the attention of the nation and now maybe we can correct this situation and teach our children to again respect the law instead of fearing them.

Now ,, Now.. Most Redneck Mississippi Judges are tit for tat. Just keep them in Mississippi and not Memphis.

Times have changed. You can't walk through people's yards like you could a long time ago. Teens, adults now a days throw their trash onto your property as they are passing through or being nosey and seeing what you have of any value. This is why homeowners are putting up fence's around their properties along with NO TRESPASSING signs. You have to respect people's property, Most of us don't have much, but what little we do have we'd like to keep it. Burglaries, Home Invasions, etc.. Just use common sense to avoid being arrested or being SHOT by the homeowner don't TRESPASS on other people's PROPERTY !!!

Leigh Ann Darby is a moron. Plain and simple. She has a horrible disposition and shouldn't be allowed to practice law in any shape, form, or fashion. Karma finally caught up with her. As for the teens, GOOD FOR YOU for standing up for yourself! You were found Not Guilty and shouldn't have been treated like murderers for simply walking across a yard. Now get rid of Darby.

This is just wrong! That judge needs some common sense. Those poor kids.... I'm so proud of them for standing up and telling about their ordeal so other teens won't have to go through this. Strip searched for trespassing?!?!? Had they done that to my son..... heads would roll!!! And what kind of neighbor calls the police for kids walking through their yard??? Unless they were vandalizing the property or hurting pets or something... But just walking by? Maybe I'm old, but I remember the days when yards weren't bound by fences and the neighborhood kids roamed free without having to worry about angering a neighbor.

Being a resident of Mississippi for 65+ years, it is certainly no suprise there are no comments on this story. Let's all just be quiet and pretend it never happened. As Mississipians we are good at keeping quiet when things like this happen to certain people. I know this to be true from experience.
