MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A man has been charged with murder after a stabbing that happened on Sunday, October 30, 2011, around 2:45 a.m. in the 3000 block of Faxon Avenue.
An affidavit says 29-year-old Daniel Spurr has been charged with the crime that left Frank Green-Scott, 29, dead.
Memphis police say they found Green-Scott lying on the front porch of a home on Faxon and bleeding from his side when they arrived on the scene. Green-Scott was suffering from a stab wound and taken to The MED in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police say Green-Scott was in an argument with Spurr, when Spurr pulled out a large, folding-blade knife and stabbed him several times.
On Tuesday, November 1, Spurr gave a statement to police admitting to stabbing Green-Scott during a fight.
