MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A Memphis man is behind bars after he was found harboring a teenage runaway in the Frayser area for sex.
Investigators say 43-year-old Farid Amir committed repeated sex acts with a 15-year-old girl for nearly two months. The girl was reported as a runaway on May 15.
According to the affidavit, Amir was aware of the girl's age and that she was a runaway.
Farid Amir was arrested and charged with Aggravated Statutory Rape and Harboring a Runaway. He was booked at the Shelby County Jail on $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court July 13.
