MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Police made another sex trafficking arrest in Memphis.
Officers say the suspect forced a 17-year-old runaway to have sex with customers and give him the money.
26-year-old Eric Sims is charged with aggravated assault, especially aggravated burglary, sex trafficking, and criminal impersonation. Police arrested Sims on Sunday, August 12 at the Airport Inn on the 1400-block of East Raines when they found him beating the girl.
The victim told officers Sims would place ads online, tell her what to charge, and how much time to spend with each customer.
Sims gave a fake name to cops and refused to talk with them about the charges. He remains at the Shelby County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
