MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A Memphis woman is behind bars after she ran over her boyfriend.
32-year-old Valerie Cousins is charged with attempted murder and driving on a suspended license.
Witnesses told police that on Sunday, June 24 they saw Cousins driving at Hollywood and Avery in midtown. They said she swerved across the street into the opposite lanes and hit Zachariah Judge while he was crossing the street.
She then tried to hit him again but bystanders blocked her way.
Cousins was found by police a short time later and booked at the Shelby County Jail on $100,000 bond.
Judge was taken to The MED in critical condition.
