Man Wanted for Memphis Murder, Tunica Robbery

MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - The suspect wanted for an armed robbery at a Tunica gas station is now also wanted by Memphis police for a deadly shooting.

27-year-old Michael Bonsky is wanted by the Tunica County Sheriff's Department for the armed robbery of a Shell/Wendy's Service Station on Highway 61 and Casino Center.

Memphis Police have also identified Bonsky as a suspect in the fatal shooting of 29-year-old Roy Townsel on March 25. Townsel was found dead on the 700-block of Carson in the Orange Mound area; a 21-year-old female victim was also found shot and transported to The MED in critical condition.

An arrest warrant for Bonsky has been issued by Memphis Police on charges of First Degree Murder, Attempted First Degree Murder and Carjacking.
