McDonald's Robbery Suspect Shot Dead by Memphis Officer

MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - According to initial reports from the scene, a Memphis officer has shot and killed a robbery suspect at a Frayser area McDonald's while at least two more suspects remains at large.

Police were called to a robbery in progress at the McDonald's on the 2000-block of Frayser Blvd around 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 27. One suspect was shot by an officer and pronounced dead on the scene. Another suspect ran off into a nearby wooded area.

Investigators say there are two other suspects, one possibly female, who was waiting in a getaway car but drove off before police arrived. The vehicle is descibed as a brown Ford Taurus.
