MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after an accident with a Megabus in downtown Memphis.
The crash occurred around 1:30pm at Front Street and Court Avenue on February 2, 2012. The motorcyclist, as 21-year-old male whose identity has not been released, was transported to The MED in critical condition. No other injuries were reported.
Memphis Police determined that the driver of the bus failed to yield while making a left turn from southbound Front Street onto Court Avenue. The driver of the motorcycle tried to avoid hitting the bus, but struck the ride rear side. The driver of the bus was cited for failure to yield.
