MEMPHIS, TN - The Memphis City Council decided Tuesday to table the ordinance that would have made Fisherville and Gray's Creek part of the City of Memphis. The areas won't be annexed, but the issue can be brought up by the city council in the future.
The action came after State Senator Mark Norris and State Representative Curry Todd announced they would no longer push a bill which would prevent Memphis from annexing the area.
