The vehicle was later found burned in Madison County; Jones' body was also found burned a short distance away.

Michael Dean was apprehended on Feb. 17 when he appeared for mandatory drug testing at 201 Poplar for probation on a separate charge. Ashley Carver was arrested a short time later.

Dean and Carver were also linked to the murder of Valero oil refinery employee, 40-year-old Leonard Davidson. 21-year-old Lewis Gibson was also arrested in connection with Davidson's murder.

In addition to Jones and Davidson, Dean told investigators he fatally shot James Rucker and Melody Weddle on Dec. 8, 2011 during a robbery.

If convicted, all four suspects face the death penalty or life in prison.
