MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Another Memphis officer ends up on the wrong side of the law. The MPD officer was charged with DUI; his case is now headed to the grand jury.
Officer John Borgstrom was arrested in Oakland, Tennessee back in November. Oakland police pulled him over after receiving a call about a reckless driver.
Investigators say Borgstrom's 10-year-old child was in the vehicle with him at the time. He failed a field sobriety test and refused a breathalyzer.
John Borgstrom was arrested and charged with Reckless Driving and DUI; his case was bound over to a grand jury this week. His current status with the Memphis Police Department has not been confirmed.
