Just observe one on the move for 5 minutes... if you can keep up with him that long. See how many traffic laws are broken.. How many police cars have they torn up?? How many innocent people have been injured or killed?

It's sad that life has been lost. I've seen officers speed like this all the time with no siren and have hurt people I know. The city usually pays for damages incurred. To add, I believe this officer should be released from duty for negligently taking lives.

Why would him being on Poplar in a squad car have anything to do with it?

Let's not forget that the other vehicle turned in front of the police car. If you factor out emotions and look at the law; then they are equally responsible for the crash.

Sounds like a charge of negligent homicide would be called for.
