MEMPHIS, TN – A Memphis police officer was arrested Friday on a warrant stemming from a road rage incident that happened on June 22, 2011.

Investigators say 33-year-old Amy Dunn was involved in an altercation with another driver near Sycamore View and Macon Road.  During the course of the argument, police say Dunn pulled out a gun.

Dunn has been a Memphis police officer since 2001.

She was been relieved of duty with pay pending the outcome of an investigation into the incident.

I am glad someone has stopped this crazy lady. I have dealt with her on two seperate occasions. She is very cocky, racist, and disrespectful. She has used her position as an officer to boost her ego. I hope she gets what she deserves and it is not on the police force.

you'd have to be really PO'D to pull out your gun on someone , she looks like a tough cop, guess you'd have to be protecting and serving a city with the highest crime rate in the country.....on the force since 2001... thats a long time policing a city like Memphis.... where every cop is a potential "target". Maybe she was at her "limit"??? Time for a break? Time for counseling?

Ego is her problem, like many cops. Plus I'm sure she is one tough broad. She looks kinda butch.
