MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - We have an idea of who they'll play and we know where they'll play.

University of Memphis Tigers fans are feeling the excitement as the team prepares to hit the road for Tulsa. The Conference USA championship tournament kicks off in two days.

When the Tigers leave for Oklahoma on Tuesday they won't be alone. Fans are packing their bags.

The Tigers will play on Thursday night, taking on either Marshall or Tulane at 6 pm.

Fans were out Monday buying new team gear to wear.

Many are feeling optimistic about the tournament after the team went undefeated in regular conference play. They're hoping the streak continues.

"We're going to Tulsa," says Buddy Dietz. "We went to the NCAA tournament last year in Columbus. I hope we don't come back disappointed like last time. All they need to do is play their game and they'll be fine."

"Fans need to go and support them and cheer them on," adds Dietz's grandson, Jake Frazier. The two looking forward to watching DJ Stephens dunk and cheering for the team on every basket.
