MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) – A judge has ordered a mental evaluation for the teen accused of making violent Facebook threats towards students and faculty at Millington High School.

Police arrested 19-year-old Jamal Smith after he posted a "kill list" on his Facebook account on November 14, 2011. Smith also stated that he had a gun and armor piercing bullets to carry out his threat.

Millington High School administrators put the school on lockdown until Smith was taken into custody at his apartment several hours later. No weapons or ammunition were found.

Smith, a recent Millington High School graduate, was charged with a misdemeanor offense of "communicating a threat concerning a school employee." He appeared in court on November 22nd, and was ordered to the Memphis Mental Health Institute for review.

He is scheduled to return to court on December 27th.
