HENDERSON COUNTY, TN (abc24.com) - Busted. A Mid-South high school soccer coach has been charged with patronizing a prostitute.

32-year-old Adam Comer, a teacher and coach at Riverside High School in Parsons, Tennessee, was arrested by Lexington Police early Monday morning after being caught with a male prostitute.

Captain Jeff Middleton with the Lexington Police Department told abc24.com, "It was obvious to the officer they were engaged in a sexual act, without a doubt."

Middleton said Comer and 26-year-old Lexington resident Ryan Weimar were parked in front of a Lexington business around 2 a.m. on Monday, May 28. The men were spotted by a Lexington police officer and after talking with the two the officer determined an act of prostitution had taken place. Both were arrested and Weimar was charged with prostitution and Comer was charged with patronizing a prostitute.

Parsons resident Laura Flowers told abc24.com she was disappointed in Comer's arrest. "We have had a lot going on in this community and the last thing we need is a Coach to act like that," she said, "I don't want my kids going to school there knowing he could possibly be a teacher there."

Because the crime happened a mile and a half from both a church and a school, the men were charged with Class A misdemeanors. The maximum sentence they can get is 11 months and 29 days.

You're right, Religion. Prostitution is great for women and our society. *eyeroll*

You have two consenting adults here. There is nothing here that show that this man is a treat to school children or any other child. The kids may be safer with this coach than with there own relatives. More children are sexually abused by family member than any other source.

IF they had 'background checks', they could weed out the deviants, & show that they ARE interested in protecting the kids. It WOULD be harder to find people qualified to do the job, however......

This freak should be ran out of town and never allowed in a school again. But football needs to stay in our schools, with the right coaches it is a great sport and a great way for kids to build character,self-confidence and it is a great exercise platform.

That boy, Adam, doesn't belong anywhere NEAR impressionable schoolchildren....and for once I agree with JeffreyTao; football is a horrific, violent "sport" that is not needed in our current society. Always wondered about all that slapping each others buttocks thing.....homoerotica indeed!

Nothing wrong with football. Nothing wrong with prostitution. BOTH should be legal.
