Momma Brown-reed I dont know if your going to see this or not but my name is Cpl Jonathan T. Overland. Your son joined literally after I got home from bootcamp. Your son has no doubt been an infulence in my life. His determination to the marine corps is outstanding. His love for his brothers inside and outside of the infantry is uncompareable. He is a strong willed, mature, amazing person and marine. I am lucky to have him influence my life not only as a person, but as a marine. I know both corina and christian, and you have raised amazing people. Your whole family is not only in my prayers, but also in my chaplins prayers, my battallions prayers, and the marine corps prayers. My heart goes out to yourself and his family. I wish the best for all of you. hes going to come out on top of this and show everyone his sacrifice for his beloved country. I may not have met you, but knowing your love for your son, im sure you have a great amount of love for his marine corps brothers. So with that being said, myself, his unit he is with, and the marine corps, we will always be here for you and your family. CB, brother, Marine, and friend, I will always be here for you along with SSgt Richard, Gunny, Nauuse, and every single marine that you ever come in contact with. I miss you brother and I hope too see you when you are home when I come home from leave. You have everyone in my family, everyone in my friends, and everyone that has ever seen your face, had the privilage of talking to you and getting to know you, praying for you, Love you brother and im here for you any time of any day, JT.
