MILLINGTON, TN (abc24.com) - For Thomas Dunn, it started with a sound.
"It sounded like just the whole front porch was fixing to fly away," Dunn said.
Then it was what Dunn saw.
"Right as the lighting hit, we seen the trailer open up and you could see the sky," he added.
Dunn was sitting in his living room with two friends when Thursday afternoon's storm struck.
"Where we were sitting, it was directly over us," he said.
Then they realized a massive tree was resting on the roof of the mobile home.
"All my friend started pushing everybody to the back door," Dunn said, with two knots on his forehead.
"The bump on the head, I don't know where it really came from... I don't remember it happening," he said.
"Where we were at, it could have been death, I hate to say it like that, but it could have been," Dunn said.
Dunn says he and his fiancé will stay with friends until the tree can be secured.
"If it caves any more, it is just going to split the whole trailer," Dunn said as he surveyed the damage.
"I feel really lucky, men and my friends, I'm just glad everybody is alright," he said.
