You can not hold the mayor accountable for the actions of the police department. The mayors job is to oversee growth and development in the community. Further more to say that this was an innocent child caught in a lawless police officers wake is speculation, kids today are not the same kids I grow up with 20 years ago and I was even afraid of some of them then. The police can only work as efficiently as the community allows them too. There are always going to be bad apples in every batch. The best thing to do is support those in the position that have been elected or appointed to them to get to the bottom of it.
