More Cuts to Planned Parenthood

The Susan G. Komen Foundation is pulling the plug on funding for Planned Parenthood. It's a double whammy for the organization as the state of Tennessee will no longer fund HIV and syphilis testing in Shelby County.

Hell, if we don't test for it, then as far as we know, no one has it. Immediately our HIV and Syphilis infection rate drops to zero. This is a very clever strategy. Not only do we eradicate two diseases, but we do it at a significant savings!

Was that reporting? Or advocacy? Come on, Jackie, why didn't you mention that HIV and STD testing were available for free from other agencies in Shelby County. The state has not ended funding for those things. They've simply redirected the money to other non-profit agencies. Jackie, I know you can do better.
