I am an indepedent. Both Dems and Repubs are so out of touch with reality. In this instance there is no denying in recent years the Repubs have wondered so far off base that they are easily thrown out. Come on now these laws will only create more of a tax burden on the great people of Tennessee. Teachers will be spending more time dealing with kids holding hands rather than training for the test. That is all they do now. Train students to take a standardized test. Our education is almost that of a third world country. REPUBS are quick to say no government involvement then they stand outside of Planned Parenthood and say outlaw abortion. How many of those blow hards are willing to take that child in and ensure it will be well taken of. NOPE they will not. Instead they will say have the baby and then complain about people on welfare constantly having babies. MISSY22- Please look up President Obama's record of taking out terrorist. How many U.S. soldiers have died during these highly successful drone attacks. NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why use drones? because he is trying to eliminate the enemy not make money for his buddies. Government jobs bills do not create jobs. They never have, they never will. As far as wars go, our present "president" is one of the worst war-mongers in recent history.

Of course, the barrage of laws seems to happen no matter who's in power. It's interesting though, that Jeff and Religion bemoan those laws, (me,too) yet immediately go off into a tirade about taxes and who should pay them. If things are to be fair, shouldn't we all pay the same tax rate? What could be more fair than that? Let's face it folks, some people just want access to the earnings of others.

When it comes to failed policies and freedoms lost the democrats have won hands down. Democrats love power over people. they love welfare programs because they enslave people to the government. Through welfare they can tell you where to live, what food you buy and how much, and how much money you can have. Now they have control over your healthcare. Note that anyone on welfare lives in poverty. So what have the democrats done to improve the quality of life? Nothing. But they have put millions of people into a position that will ensure they can never get off the welfare system. Modern unions destroy businesses and put people out of work. Those people have to turn to government assistance. Democrats love unions. High taxes closes plants and small businesses. But they are necessary to support all these government handouts and welfare. Eventually when eveyone is broke, you run out of money. What then? Liberals like Tao don't entertain that question. Why? Because it won't affect him before he dies. Kick the can down the road. Ask a liberal this, How many poor people create jobs or start businesses? We all know the answer, none. So where is the money going to come from? This is the hope and change you voted for? Guaranteed poverty? You mention stupid people. Democrats own the list. The SCOTUS ruling last week was a tragedy for our once great nation. Talk about a law that robs freedoms and is the highest tax ever put on the people. Sounds like oppression to me. Passing laws by executive order? Taxing without representation? Hiding a cover-up by executive priveledge? Punishing states that don't fall in line by NOT enforcing federal law? Ignoring the ruling of SCOTUS because it doesn't suit you? And you dare speak of suppressing and curtailing freedoms? Not everyone is as stupid as a democrat Tao. Democrats and moderate republicans have a lot to worry about this november.
