MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A tip from a Memphis mother helped police nab three suspected crooks.

According to the affidavit, the mom called investigators to report her own daughter helped steal three televisions from the Walmart on Winchester Road. She told police the TV's were still in her home and her daughter and accomplices planned to hit the store again.

Officers located 24-year-old Tamara Strickland, as well as Steve Hampton and Sean Blackburn, both 22. Police found two TV's and a stereo in the suspect's car, along with several bags of pot.

Strickland, Hampton and Blackburn were charged with Theft of Property and Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell. All three are still in jail and expected to face a judge Monday.

God Bless that mother! I can imagine how much she loves her daughter and how hard that decision to turn her in to the police was for her, but with times like they are now, it's a decision that a lot of us parents are going to have to decide on. Again God Bless that mom and hopefully this helps her daughter make better decisions in the future...

That's what you call "Tough Love". There should be more parents out there doing the same thing making their kids take responsibility for their actions. Good Job!
