MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A Whitehaven mother believes her 13-year-old daughter's life could be in danger.
13-year-old Tamera Young never came home from school February 14, 2012. Her mother, Linda Young, told abc24.com, "I pray to God, just please send her home safe. Where ever she is, just send her back. I miss her.'
Linda Young fears her daughter is in trouble. "I don't know what danger my child is in. We don't know where they are and I believe somebody is holding my daughter against her will because that is not Tamera and I know she wants to come home."
Tamera was last seen walking home from Lanier Middle school with a friend. Both girls are missing. "This is my first time going through this and it's so hard," Young says.
Memphis Police qualify her as an endangered runaway. However, Young's certain she's in trouble. "I just hope she comes home safe, wherever she is, whoever got her, just please let her come back. We miss her so much, I really do."
