MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A grieving mother is begging anyone with information about her daughter's murder to come forward. Roneccia Luster was shot and killed while using an ATM in southeast Memphis Tuesday night. Her two killers are on still the run.

Betty Buckley first heard about it Wednesday when officers showed up where she works to give her the bad news. Now she is in shock that her 44-year-old daughter is gone.

"She was my best friend, she was my backbone, she was my everything. When she wanted to say no she wouldn't. When she wanted to say no she couldn't because I was her mom."

Luster worked at the post office as a mail carrier for more than 20 years and had a strong faith in God.

"She taught me true love and she taught me the real meaning of depending on God."

Luster's usual stop at the ATM machine ended tragically when two guys tried to rob her. Buckley says the robbers didn't have to shoot her daughter; she would have handed over the money if given the chance.

"If those young men had asked her for a dime she would have given them a quarter; she wouldn't turn her back on anybody."

Police found a gun near the crime scene, which may turn out to be crucial evidence, and released surveillance photos of one suspect. There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.

But it's not the money that Buckley hopes will motivate someone to tip off the police. She says it's the right thing to do.

"If anyone knew anything they need to come forward and try and make it right for my baby."

There was a second victim, who the suspects shot moments later while trying to carjack him at a nearby McDonald's. Police say he was released from the hospital Thursday.

This story makes me more sick to my stomach every time I read something about it. These weren't two young men, they're two young PAB pansies. And I sure don't want to pay to house and feed them for the rest of their life. Maybe they wont even make it to the police station. Take them straight to the morgue.

I honestly hope they are caught, this story angers me, can't stand people who refuse to work to get what they want, but will kill to take from others
