MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A motorcyclist is dead after a crash on Winchester Road in South Memphis early Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred just before 7:30 a.m. on March 14 at the intersection of Winchester Road and Graves Road. According to Memphis police, the motorcycle was traveling westbound on Winchester when an eastbound car turned out in front of the biker.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead on the scene. The victim was later identified at Michael Moore, according to Memphis Light Gas & Water. MLGW stated on their website that Moore, who worked for the utility company for nearly 35 years, was killed on his commute to work. Moore was married with two daughters and two sons.
