MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Robert Pera, Justin Timberlake and Penny Hardaway are one step closer to becoming official owners of the Memphis Grizzlies.
The NBA Finance Committee unanimously approved the sale to Pera, a California businessman, on Wednesday, October 24.
Thursday, the deal goes before the NBA Board of Governors for their approval.
After that step, sources close to this deal say that the sale could be completed between Pera and current majority Grizzlies owner, Michael Heisley, as early as next week.
