One of the nation's greatest athletes and civil rights activists was in town Monday. NFL great Jim Brown was honored at the Memphis Grizzlies MLK Day Celebration Game for his continued fight for equal rights for all.

Equality and equal opportunity are not the same thing. What a great ball player! I have great memories of watching Jim Brown, growing up in Ohio, before the Bengals even existed. (I'm dating myself) Does he feel guilty that he had talent that few others possessed? It kinda sounds like it. We're not all equal...in innate talent or, certainly, willingness to put out the effort.
