Helena-West Helena, AR (abc24.com) Four companies will invest millions of dollars and bring eighty-seven new jobs to Helena-West Helena, Arkansas.

"There's something even magical when you can celebrate good news in a place that hasn't enjoyed that kind of prosperity," said Arkansas Governor, Mike Beebe.

Enviro Tech is one of the companies coming to town. The chemical services company is investing $1.5 million dollars and bringing 30 new jobs to the area. Delta American Fuel, Quapaw Products and Southern Hardware are the other companies pledging jobs and investment.

Beebe told abc24.com he's happy to see opportunities sprouting up.

"You got to root for the underdogs sometimes and they've struggled to no fault of their own more often than not. While 100 jobs may not be a huge deal for Jonesboro, or Little Rock, in the Delta it's a pretty big deal," said Beebe.
