MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Over 20 response units were called to a fire at the Woodchase Apartments in Cordova Tuesday afternoon.
The fire broke out around 3:30 p.m. on April 17. The Memphis Fire Department had the fire knocked down a short time later. Eight units were damaged by the blaze.
Lt. Wayne Cooke told abc24.com that they called out so many pieces of fire equipment due to the complex being so densely populated.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
