MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) – 69-year-old Pinky McDaniel lives on a fixed income, but that doesn't stop her from cooking Thanksgiving dinner for everyone in her North Memphis neighborhood.

“God is good to me," McDaniel told abc24.com.

In turn Ms. Pinky is good to everyone else. Raysteen Fenton makes sure he shows up every year for Thanksgiving.

"I've been coming here for years, and she also feeds me throughout the year,” Fenton told abc24.com.

It means a lot to get a plate on Thanksgiving. Bessie Parker showed up too.

"I really love it because you don't usually see your neighborhood do stuff like this," said Parker.

Ms. Pinky told abc24.com she doesn't do it all alone.

"My mother helped with the cooking and Sister Kirkwood does whatever I ask when it comes to food and when you got people willing to help you can get a job done," said McDaniel.

I'm so proud of you, Sis. McDaniel, Mother King and Sis. Kirkwood. Y'all keep up the good work! I know Pastor Dandridge and the entire Berachah family is proud of you guys.
