Officer Facing Federal Drug Charges Resigns from MPD

A Memphis Police officer charged with securing drug deals while on duty has resigned from the department.

Guess RIMMER would have supported fugitive slave laws and gassing of jews. It was the law after all. "It has to do with choices." I choose to be a good person and ignore bad laws. You choose to punish the nonviolent. You are immoral - but that's ok, you support the law. Sheep.

When you don't agree with the law, you advocate change. Anyone who violates the law, regardless of whether or not they agree with it, should be held to account. This is especially true for police officers who all pin on the badge knowing that they will be held to a higher standard and subject to greater scrutiny. It has nothing to do with being "mindless, immoral, unsuccessful and racist". It has to do with choices. This police officer chose to break the law. He and anyone else who makes that choice should be punished appropriately.

Another victim of the mindless, immoral, unsuccessful, and racist 'war on drugs', which is just a war on the peaceful American public. Prohibition creates 1000x more problems than it 'solves', unless of course you are a politician, or a member of the corrupt justice system....
