One Seriously Injured in Accident with School Bus

BOLIVAR, TN (abc24.com) - One person was airlifted to The MED in Memphis after an accident with a school bus Monday morning just outside of Bolivar, Tennessee.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 2004 Kia sedan rear-ended a school bus that has stopped to pick up students. The driver of the sedan, whose identity has not been released, was seriously injured and airlifted from the scene of the accident.

At the time of the accident, there were five passengers and a driver on the school bus; none of those on the bus sustained any injuries.
