One Shot in Orange Mound Robbery

MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - One person was injured when robbers shot at a four people outside an Orange Mound home early Friday morning.

Memphis police were called to the 700-block of Hanley Street around 2:15 a.m. on Friday, January 4. When they arrived, they found four victims had been robbed; one victim, a 34-year-old man, had been shot. He was transported to The MED in non-critical condition. The other victims were not injured.

Investigators say the four victims were standing outside when two or three unknown suspects shot at them and robbed them. The suspects are described as black males wearing all black clothing and masks, last seen in a dark-colored vehicle.

So far there are no suspects in custody. Anyone with information on this robbery should call CrimeStoppers at (901) 528-CASH (2274).
