Around 7 a.m. Saturday morning, Ripley Fire Department received a call about a structure fire on Larkwood Avenue. When firefighters arrived, the fire was fully involved. They observed a vehicle in the yard and a neighbor was able to confirm that there was a person inside the house.
The body of a woman, approximately 33 years-old, was found in one of the bedrooms of the house. The body was removed and the fire is currently being investigated.
