MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis firefighters were called to a house fire in the 1000-block of Mendenhall Cove early Thursday morning.
Firefighters were called to the home around 3:20 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, and had the fire under control by 3:40 a.m. The cause of the fire was determined to be an electrical malfunction in the den area.
No injuries were reported.
The fire occurred across the street where Memphis Officers Martoiya Lang and William Vrooman were shot in December while serving a drug warrant.
